Enrichment Programs
Beyond the Victorian Curriculum program areas, enrichment activities at Warracknabeal Special Developmental School significantly boost student learning. Students engage in various programs, not only within the school but also in the broader community.
Fortnightly Riding Develops Abilities sessions with the assistance of our local RDA team and Warracknabeal Secondary students.
Senior students participate in this school-based, youth development program designed to promote community involvement and independence.
Each week our students help to deliver meals (and have a friendly chat) to local residents.
Practicing life skills while completing errands at the supermarket, post office and local businesses.
Students participate weekly in this program that is designed to build resilience through rhythm.
Fortnightly basketball sessions are held with Warracknabeal Secondary College year 9 students.
Student First Aid
Senior students complete student first aid training each year.
